Chemical Peel
What is chemical peel?
Chemical peels are procedures to improve the appearance of our skin. It is a form of resurfacing procedure. During chemical peel, a chemical solution is applied to the skin to remove the top layers (exfoliate). You may need to have more than 1 session to get desired results.
Chemical peels can be used to treat acne and acne scars, skin discolouration, fine wrinkles and for overall rejuvenation of skin. Your dermatologist will carry out a thorough evaluation to assess if you are suitable before you have a chemical peel.
How do I prepare for a chemical peel?

1) Apply broad spectrum sunscreen (SPF 50) and topical products to prepare your skin as instructed by your dermatologist.
2) Start taking your oral antiviral or antibiotic medicine at least 24 hours before your chemical peel, if you have been prescribed.
3) Stop certain topical products one week before treatment as instructed by your dermatologist.

Injectable Dermal Fillers
What are dermal fillers for?
Dermal fillers are substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore volume, reduce lines and wrinkles, or enhance facial contours. As we age, some parts of our face may lose volume causing changes like sagging, loss of high cheekbones, prominent facial lines and other signs of aging. Restoring the volume with dermal filler injections can help reduce these changes.
How long do dermal fillers last?
This depends on the type of dermal filler used. For example, hyaluronic acid fillers can last between 3-12 months, depending on exact type used.
